Mum Run Club

In 2017 I became a mum.  A life changing experience that gave me a whole new appreciation for the challenges mums face and how much of a role exercise can play in building resilience.  Post natal depression, the baby blues, and general fatigue are real things that mums face every day.  I truly believe in the importance of physical activity as a way of facing these challenges.  Not only that but it is great way to get out of the house, do something for yourself, and feel good about your body again.  Let me help you on your return to fitness in a safe and enjoyable way.

What I offer

I offer tailored plans based on what stage you are at and what you would like to achieve.  Each plan is available in an online app (or desktop).  The plans are simple to follow and you can add commentary to your sessions.  This way I can stay up-to-date with your progress and help you along the way should you have any questions.  The return to fitness postpartum is very rarely a straight line journey.  There will be ups and downs, steps forwards and steps backwards.  I have been through this all myself and can offer first-hand experience and advice.

Each plan includes access to my member portal where you will have access to tips, articles, and information.

Plans:

Beginner 8-week return to run - This plan is designed for those who were not running regularly before pregnancy and will get you up to running 40mins continuously over an 8 week period.  It consists of 2 core sessions and 2 run sessions per week. ($120)

Intermediate 6-week return to run - This plan is designed for those who were running regularly before pregnancy and will get you up to running 40mins continuously over a 6 week period.  It starts with 2 core sessions and 2 run sessions per week and advances to 3 run sessions per week. ($100)

5km Race ready - When you've completed a return to run plan this plan is the next step and will get you ready for a 5km run event.  Sessions become more race-specific with some speed added in.  The plan 6 weeks long and is based on 3 runs per week. ($100)

Customised stay-fit plan - This plan is for those who would like a more tailored approach to staying fit.  It could be that you want to do a triathlon, a swim event, or a longer race like a half marathon.  The plan is built specifically for the goals you have. ($20/week)

Before starting any of these plans it is strongly advised to have a check from your women's health physio and complete the strength rehabilitation programme they advise.  Any run programme should not be started until at least 6 months postpartum.
